New Partnership for Digital Innovation
Boehringer Ingelheim has entered into a partnership with Startupbootcamp Digital Health Berlin. The purpose is to identify and develop startups in the field of digital healthcare solutions.
The research-driven pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim has set the goal of fully tapping its digital potential. For this purpose, the company has already launched a number of its own initiatives. Increasingly, however, Boehringer Ingelheim also relies on cooperation with external partners. The most recent example is a collaboration between the BI X digital laboratory founded in 2017 and Startupbootcamp Digital Health Berlin, which arranges for contacts with exciting young startup companies all over the world. This partnership will primarily focus on identifying and cooperating with e-health startups.
Founded in 2010, Startupbootcamp Digital Health Berlin offers its partner companies in the healthcare sector a global network of industry-focused startups. “We are always looking for innovative digital ideas that we can use to help patients all over the world even better than we do now,” explains Jasmin Saric, Head of Digital Ideation and Scouting at Boehringer Ingelheim’s BI X digital laboratory. “This new collaboration introduces us to young companies at an early stage. Together, we can explore whether it makes sense for us to cooperate and what that might actually look like.”
